Two types of colocation are available : utilizing your own hardware or renting hardware form IBSCY Ltd. Each option has its own set of advantages and disadvantages. Below, are some detailed information regarding both types of colocation.

Server Colocation in Cyprus - Type 1

In server colocation at IBSCY Ltd's Cyprus data centre, clients have the option to utilise their own hardware or purchase hardware through the IBSCY company. This approach offers the advantage of easy relocation to another data centre in the future, as it involves a straightforward "plug-and-play" process to move the equipment. However, it requires an initial investment in hardware, which can be significant. IBSCY's team is available to provide quotations for hardware purchases upon request.

Server Colocation in Cyprus - Type 2

In this variant of server colocation at IBSCY Ltd's Cyprus data centre, similar to Type 1, clients are not required to purchase any hardware. Instead, they pay a monthly rental fee based on th hardware they utilise. This approach offers significant cost savings by eliminating the need for an initial capital investment in hardware. However, should the need arise to relocate equipment to another data centre, clients would either need to purchase new hardware and configure it from scratch or acquire the existing hardware at its current value, which may result in higher overall costs compared to purchasing new hardware initially.
