We offer two primary colocation models: utilizing your own hardware or renting hardware from IBSCY Ltd. Each approach provides distinct advantages and considerations; further details about these options are provided below.

Server Colocation in Cyprus - Type 1

At IBSCY Ltd's Cyprus data centre, server colocation clients may choose to deploy their own hardware or acquire equipment directl through IBSCY. This arrangement facilitates seamless future relocation to alternative data centres, as the "plug-and-play" process allows for efficient transfer of equipment. It is important to note that this model requires an initial capital investment in hardware. IBSCY's team remains available to provide detailed quotations for hardware procurement upon request.

Server Colocation in Cyprus - Type 2

In this version of server colocation at IBSCY Ltd's Cyprus data centre, as with Type 1, clients are not required to invest in hardware upfront. Instead, they pay a montly rental fee determined by the hardware resources they use. This model enables substantial cost savings by removing the need for initial capital expenditure on equipment. However, if there is a requirement to move equipment to another data centre, clients would have to either purchase and configure new hardware or buy the existing hardware at its current market value, which could potentially lead to higher total costs than purchasing new equipment from the outset.
